Vardaman- The wordle has words and phrases from Vardaman's section. This is when they are all trying to save Addie Bundren's body from the water. There is a lot of hollering and screaming at eachother when Darl is trying to retrieve her body. The section also talks about how the mules are dead and they were floating in the water. This foreshadows for things to come in the book.

What is Dewey Dell thinking wanting an abortion. She was stupid to go off and get pregnant. When I did at least I had the child even though I didn't want he or she. I made mistakes before, but I repayed for them. Having an abortion isn't one of them though. If I was alive I would whip that girl. She needs to take responsiblity for it and not kill the child. God wants all of his kids to love and she is disobeying her father. Speaking of father it annoys me that she won't tell Anse. I know she thinks it will kill him, but he has been dead in my mind for awhile. He probably wouldn't care because all he cares about is himself. He is lazy and only wants his teeth. He is stupid for not realizing why Dewey went to Mottson. I am glad somebody agrees with me on abortions. If the guy would have gave her the medicine I would have whipped him too. I know I don't like kids, but killing them with medicine isn't the answer. I hope nobody else gives her a pill. If anyone deserves a pill or medicine ot would be Cash. He is the one with the broken leg. I feel bad for him. I hope they get to Jefferson for his sake and mine. I just want to rest peacefully in the ground. i seriously can't stand my family.

Also in the section sulphrous is said a lot.
Dear Diary,
I get to go to town today. Dewey Dell told me I would get to see the train. She said Santa left if there for me and nobody will take it. I hope she is right. Jewel said mother is a horse, but I thought she was a fish. Hmmmm...if it wasn't for Darl I think mother would have been a horse. Anyways, Anse was mad when Dewey had the cake to take along. I don't get why though, its just a cake. I am just glad to see the train. It is going to look so good in the case.
"My mother is a fish." She is a fish because I caught a fish and the fish died. I had my mom too, but the she died. So that makes my mom a fish. I don't get why fish die. I want them to live and I want my mom back too. I don't really understand the whole dying thing. I actually never understand anything. All I know is she is gone. The fish is gone too.
Anse- This is a picture of the false teeth Anse wishes to get in town. He seems only concerned about getting his teeth and doesn't mind that his wife passed away. It shows how much of a jerk he really is.
